Holly Wasion, LISW, is a licensed independent social worker with extensive experience supporting individuals through trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. She specializes in helping clients cultivate resilience, strengthen self-efficacy, and empower themselves in their daily lives. Holly has a bachelors degree in social work from the University of Iowa and a masters degree in social work from St. Ambrose University.
Her therapeutic approach is collaborative and integrative while focusing on the person as a whole and the mind-body connection. She believes in creating a safe, compassionate environment to help clients restore balance and thrive. She utilizes motivational interviewing, cognitive processing therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy while also drawing processes from cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectic behavioral therapy.
Holly is passionate about guiding clients through healing and specializes in work with individuals who have experienced or used intimate partner violence, supporting survivors of sexual trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma and PTSD.
