We believe that thorough psychiatric assessments should identify the root cause of distress. During your initial 90 minutes assessment, our psychiatric providers will spend the time to get to know you, understand your current symptoms, review your medication and psychosocial history as well as review your medical history. Based on your needs, we will then order and review labs, and further psychological assessments. If you have been seen by a provider outside of Rein Center, we will request your chart to review the efficacy of past treatment and ensure your further progress. Our team emphasizes the role of biopsychosocial aspects of pathology, and the role of psychological trauma and stress, while emphasizing the importance of social relations and attachment for learning and for health.
